Gorbunko: If the current pace of eliminating Russian troops continues, Russia will suffer approximately 1.5 million more losses within two years.
Ukrainian People's Servant Party MP Gorbunko said during the "Evening Live" program that this figure could become the tipping point triggering a "black swan event" in Russia — "from mass public uprisings to Putin being removed by his inner circle."
Gorbunko also speculated that if Putin remains in power before this point, the war might continue until 2027. As long as Putin is in charge, one can only hope for a frozen conflict at best, not full-scale peace.
Gorbunko believes that the U.S. military operations in Iran have exposed weaknesses in its war machine — notably, a severe lack of experience in large-scale modern warfare — which may affect Putin’s willingness to end the war.
