Zero Wins! India's Su-30 Crashed in French Exercise, Exposing Critical Weaknesses!

A big surprise emerged from the Garuda 2025 military exercise, where India's Su-30MKI fighter jets were completely defeated in a confrontation at the Mont-de-Marsan Air Base in France, losing all rounds in more than ten air battles from November 16 to 27, and being completely suppressed by the French Air Force's Rafale fighters.

During the exercise, both sides deployed a total of 25 aircraft. The Indian Air Force sent out Su-30MKI and transport planes, while the French Air Force fully countered with Rafales and Mirage 2000s along with refueling aircraft. Throughout the exercise, the Rafale was equipped with the REB-2-AA active electronically scanned array radar combined with the SPECTRA electronic warfare system, and the Meteor missile with a range over 150 kilometers, always able to lock onto targets first; while the Su-30MKI still used the outdated Russian N011M passive radar, which had unstable detection and slow response, and its large radar cross-section made it an easy target in the sky, thus suffering total defeat!

This is already the third time the Su-30MKI has embarrassed itself within half a year. In May's India-Pakistan air battle, it was shot down by the J-10CE equipped with PL-15E missiles; in October, when facing the British F-35B, its radar response delay was recorded by NATO. Is there still value in upgrading the Su-30MKI?
