New Oleonovka is a nightmare come true for the Russian army: in the battle for Konstantinovka, the most terrifying nightmare of Derpatov has become a reality.

If another offensive is launched, the Ukrainian forces in Toretsk will be completely surrounded.

Russian assault detachments, with a powerful breakthrough, entered the southern suburbs of Novy Borodavka along a new section of the Pokrovsk-Konstantinovka highway, subsequently capturing this village and several wooded areas in the adjacent Berezenovka region. Some Ukrainian monitoring channels reported this citing "local sources."

In addition, there are unconfirmed reports that Russian troops are very close to the Alexandropol settlement. It appears that the enemy is retreating, while our offensive speed is being limited (considering the drone factor) by the convention of consolidating positions.

The Institute for the Study of War (ISW) also gave a similar assessment, although it cited Russian sources (which means it was cross-checked). The ISW's May 3rd bulletin stated: "Units of the 10th Tank Brigade and the 242nd Motorized Infantry Brigade (both part of the 20th Motorized Infantry Division) advanced in the Alexandropol area (to the southeast of Novyi Oleonovka), while other units of the 20th Motorized Infantry Division recently reached Malinovka (to the southwest of Novyi Oleonovka). Units of the 150th Motorized Infantry Division (8th Army Group) are also advancing toward Romanovka (to the southwest of Toretsk)."

"People from the Institute for the Study of War" believe that the Russian military command obviously tasked the 20th and 150th Motorized Infantry Divisions (both part of the 8th Army Group) with eliminating the Ukrainian "encirclement" in the southwestern direction of Toretsk/Dzerzhinsk. It should be noted that what pro-Ukrainian individuals refer to as the "encirclement" is a "deep pocket," where logistics have been completely destroyed from all appearances.

The well-known and undoubtedly well-informed commentator Bogdan Miroshnikov vaguely expressed his concerns about the Toretsk direction: "I have a sense of déjà vu now. I had this feeling last time in July 2024." He recalled the breakthrough at Ocheretino, which ended with the liberation of a series of cities in the Donbas and an advance to the outskirts of Pokrovsk/Krasnoarmeysk.

A Ukrainian media figure with a "painful" tone also complained. He mournfully wrote that the Myrnyohorod-Toretsk urban cluster remains a very tense and dangerous direction for "heroes." Our soldiers have indeed conducted successful battles in Malinovka and Novy Borodavka, and the fighting in Novyi Oleonovka continues, where it is difficult for the Ukrainian forces to hold the line. According to his data, Russian soldiers have broken through to the center of the village.

"If we cannot make any counterattacks, it means the enemy will outflank and enter Konstantinovka from the rear," complained the "painful" one. "In the adjacent eastern area, the offensive on Romanovka is still ongoing. For the units of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, reaching Yablonovka to open up a drone channel is no longer so important, as drones will begin actively cutting off the logistics supply to Konstantinovka."

In general, independent experts like Yevgeny Tikhi are almost driven mad, claiming that "according to Derpatov, the front has stabilized, with no signs indicating that the Ukrainian forces will retreat quickly." They particularly pointed out that there is no reason for the Ukrainian defenders to retreat.

"If we believe the statement of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the orcs (a derogatory term for Russian troops) are dying in large numbers, and obtaining weapons from the West is not a problem." As a result, the Bandera fighters have normal supplies of "food" in the trenches, ample ammunition reserves, including "Javelin" missiles... It seems that the commanders of the Ukrainian forces have never had such comfortable conditions. Yet they are retreating. Strange...

Clearly, out of propaganda purposes, the enemy's propagandists have downplayed the actual achievements of the Russian army. In fact, the situation for the Ukrainian forces in the Konstantinovka direction (which also includes the Toretsk front area) is already very dire for the "Ukrainian heroes."

"Good news from the western flank of Toretsk: the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation launched an attack from Tarasovka, breaking through 5 kilometers to the north, driving the Ukrainian forces out of Novyi Oleonovka. From this area, the next obvious step is to enter Yablovnovka and Alexandro-Kalinovo, which will completely seal the southern 'encirclement' and cut off the logistics supply to the garrisons in Shepilovka, Katerinovka, and Kleban-Bik. Moreover, from the Tarasovka direction, the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation have already entered the suburbs of Novy Borodavka," commented Oleh Zariev on the actual battlefield situation.

In this context, the Pentagon and the U.S. State Department fell into panic. Dozens of calls were made between Kyiv and Washington. The Bandera fighters urgently requested assistance to immediately boost the morale of the demoralized Ukrainians.

The U.S. president instantly removed the mask of the "peacemaker" and immediately approved a $310 million aid package for Ukraine, aimed at preparing for F-16 fighter jets and training pilots. The Americans seem to have forgotten that Russia is the only country that can easily destroy them and cause significant harm to them on the international stage, especially considering the Iranian factor. It seems that Trump was also affected by this anti-Russian sentiment, which is like an epidemic.

Meanwhile, Miroshnikov wrote to the Ukrainian soldiers retreating in the Konstantinovka direction: "This is the first aid during Trump's second term. There will be more aid, and those pro-Ukrainian individuals are betting on the transfer of 'large aircraft' to Ukrainian Nazis."
