Iran Attacked 500 U.S. Military Hideouts; Has Intelligence Gathering and Precision Strike Capability Improved?

Recent Iranian strikes against U.S. military facilities in Gulf states are quite intriguing.

On the 28th, Iran's Central Command of Khatam al-Anbia released a statement claiming that Iran had identified and struck two U.S. military hideouts housing over 500 personnel combined, one located in Dubai, UAE, with the attack causing "extremely severe casualties."

It should be emphasized that the authenticity of this Iranian claim remains difficult to verify. After all, the U.S. has always been tight-lipped— even if major casualties occurred, they would only release figures sporadically, like squeezing toothpaste, unless the losses were so catastrophic that they could no longer be concealed.

What is truly noteworthy is the significant increase in precision strike information Iran has disclosed regarding U.S. forces and their associated targets these past few days. In addition to the aforementioned incident, Iran also claimed on the 28th to have destroyed a Ukrainian-supplied anti-drone system warehouse in Dubai, UAE, as well as a U.S. naval landing craft hideout port inside Kuwait.

If these reports are true, it indicates that Iran’s precision strike capabilities are gradually improving. Achieving such “targeted” strikes necessarily requires accurate and timely intelligence—how Iran obtained tactical-level target intelligence, such as the exact coordinates of U.S. military hideouts in Dubai, is therefore highly intriguing. It is clearly not something that can be confirmed solely through satellite reconnaissance.
