Trump says does not think China's military parade is a challenge to the US

According to Reuters, on September 2 local time, US President Trump held a press conference at the White House. When asked by a reporter whether the military parade commemorating the 80th anniversary of the victory in the War of Resistance against Japan in Beijing was "a challenge to the United States," Trump gave a negative answer.

He said: "No, no, not at all. China needs us, and I have a good relationship with President Xi."

Trump later added: "China needs us much more than we need them. No, I don't think so at all (that the military parade is a challenge to the United States), no."
