Reuters reported that on October 22, a shooting incident occurred outside the Belgrade City Assembly building in Serbia, leaving a man seriously injured. The incident took place near a tent set up by supporters of Serbian President Vučić.
Vučić was giving a speech during a government event at the time, but he had to leave early as he was informed of a "terrorist attack just occurred in front of the Serbian Parliament building."
Supporters of Vučić had set up tents in a park between the Parliament building and Vučić's office to prevent protesters from approaching the buildings. Reuters reported that there were no protests taking place at the time of the shooting.

A video circulating online shows a man limping away from the scene while armed security personnel approach one of the tents. A video released by local media shows that several gunshots were heard shortly after, followed by a fire breaking out inside the tent.
The Serbian Telegrafi website cited sources saying that a 70-year-old man shot a 57-year-old man in the leg, then fired at a gas canister in the tent camp.
The identity of the shooter and the arsonist is currently unknown, and the fire was quickly extinguished.
Local media reported that one person has been detained, and the police have cordoned off the scene.
A video posted on the X platform shows a man lying on the ground with his hands tied behind his back, surrounded by police.
Minister of Health Lončar told reporters that a man was seriously injured and required emergency surgery.
Reuters journalists on site saw fire trucks and police surrounding the area. Local police refused to comment, but a police officer at the scene said, "There is currently no danger."
