September 1, 2025 - Sailors on the Arleigh Burke-class missile destroyer USS Dewey (DDG 105) are preparing a rigid-hull inflatable boat for a visit, board, search, and seizure (VBSS) exercise. Dewey has been deployed and is assigned to Destroyer Squadron (DESRON) 15, the largest destroyer squadron in the Navy and a major surface warfare force of the U.S. Seventh Fleet.
