Russia will not sell oil to countries that set price caps on Russian oil

Andrei Rudenko, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Russia, told Izvestia that Moscow will not supply oil to countries supporting price caps on Russian crude.

He stated that decisions on exceptions will be made on a case-by-case basis, depending on relations with specific countries and Russia’s own interests.

- This is another clear statement from the Russian official side: refusing to recognize the Western mechanism of capping Russian oil prices, and directly rejecting oil supplies to countries participating in such caps;

- At the same time, maintaining flexibility to decide on exemptions for individual countries based on bilateral relations and Russia’s own interests.
