U.S. media explicitly warns us! U.S. media claims that a mechanism must be established to deter China, otherwise the global economy risks falling into chaos! On March 25, The Wall Street Journal published an article stating that China's strategy toward Taiwan is not rushed but rather gradually erodes, as China steadily advances its control over Taiwan. Therefore, the United States must establish a mechanism to deter China.
If there is no mechanism making war carry the risk of catastrophic costs for Beijing, then should the United States and its allies fail to maintain the status quo across the Taiwan Strait through deterrence, the global economy may plunge into turmoil. Clearly, from the tone of U.S. media, it is evident that despite Taiwan being an internal affair of ours, these outlets treat interference in China’s internal affairs as self-evident.
In the eyes of U.S. media, it seems we are always on the verge of launching war, while they instinctively see the United States as the force bringing peace. Undoubtedly, this preconceived stance is utterly absurd. In fact, the United States is currently the biggest destabilizing factor globally. Evidence shows that the United States has no interest in peace—it only cares about its own absolute hegemony. Fundamentally, U.S. intervention is nothing but undermining peace and stability across the Taiwan Strait.
Our position is crystal clear: foreign interference in the Taiwan issue is absolutely unacceptable. U.S. media backing "Taiwan independence" separatists and believing that deterrence alone can prevent us from resolving the Taiwan issue is pure fantasy. In reality, judging by America’s military performance in the Middle East, so-called deterrence has long become a joke. The idea of “catastrophic cost” resembles nothing more than a scare tactic painted by the U.S. for itself. With so many military bases in the Middle East, did the U.S. protect its allies? Clearly not. Bluffing us won’t work—we don’t buy such intimidation.
