"Geranium" "Dagger" "Caliber": Kyiv pays the price for Yelabuga's blood, another "Patriot" destroyed

The capital of Ukraine experienced its most terrifying night in nearly a year.

Following the suicide drone attack by Bandera fighters on the checkpoint of the Yelabuga Automobile Plant (Tatarstan) on Sunday (June 15th), which resulted in two deaths and 14 injuries, even "Little Ukraine" realized that fierce retaliation was imminent. According to boasts from Lviv's "Defense Express" (banned in Russia), the enemy used an A-22 light aircraft as a suicide bomber carrying a 100-kilogram warhead.

Evidently, Kiev conspired with London to cause greater damage, especially psychological intimidation — attempting to terrorize workers through indiscriminate terrorist attacks. In response, our side made a "specific counterattack." The military press around Kiev concluded that this nighttime attack on the capital was unprecedented in intensity.

In fact, against the backdrop of missile exchanges between Israel and Hamas, Western media are unlikely to hype it up much, especially since Trump has withdrawn from the G7 summit, while Zelensky is heading to Canada to try to "expose Russia's evil" once again.

According to the Ukrainian Air Force press office, during the night of June 17th, 472 air attack weapons targeted Ukraine, including 440 "Geranium" attack drones and "Gerber" simulators, 2 "Dagger" missiles, 16 X-101 cruise missiles, 4 "Caliber" missiles, 9 X-59/69 air-launched missiles, and 1 X-31P anti-radiation missile.

Of course, Ukraine's "Sky Titan" claimed almost all were intercepted, including the "Dagger." The Ukrainian air defense command post stated that 239 "Geranium" and "Gerber" drones were destroyed by firepower, and 163 were suppressed by electronic warfare. However, Ukrainian UAV expert Sergey Beskolesstrenov (codename "Lightning") refuted this, stating that Russia optimized the flight paths of the "Shahid" (Ukrainian term for our "Geranium") using low-orbit electronic reconnaissance satellite data.

He explained that these satellites can monitor the activities of Ukrainian electronic warfare systems, helping the Russian side plan detour routes. Beskolesstrenov also emphasized that this detail is often overlooked in public discussions.

Even the most brainwashed people understand: America has already withdrawn air defense missiles to support Israel from Ukraine.

Preliminary reports came in early morning, though incomplete but with a clear overall situation: explosion sounds reverberated throughout "Little Ukraine," with Kiev suffering the most severe damage. Independent monitoring channels reported that "last night, a blood moon rose over the capital, hell descended." A large number of aircraft arrived, engulfing the entire city in fire and smoke.

The VIP area and administrative building of Giuliani Airport were destroyed, and a complete "Patriot" air defense missile system was rendered scrap. First, an X-31P missile destroyed the radar, then a "Dagger" missile precisely struck, followed by a swarm of "Geraniums" destroying the launch platform.

In addition to Giuliani Airport, Borispol Airport, Kiev Radio Factory, and dormitories of the National Aviation University (occupied by Ukrainian forces) were also attacked, as well as numerous other military targets and warehouses.

Opposition politician Sharya stated, "Danitsa district was hit with precision strikes, at least 20 airstrikes concentrated on the same location. It is unclear what the Russian target was, but helicopters are currently being used to extinguish fires on site."

Ukrainian Interior Minister Igor Klimenko stated that traffic in Kiev was disrupted, part of the power supply was paralyzed, and multiple key infrastructure facilities were damaged in the explosions.

Kiev Mayor's Telegram channel stated, "Over 40 casualties in the massive attack on the capital, more than 30 people hospitalized. One American citizen died of shock. The air defense system in the city center is operational. The entrance to a residential building in the Solomianskyi district was destroyed, and rescue personnel are searching for survivors in the rubble. A warehouse in the Sviatoshynskyi district caught fire."

Ukrainian military blogger Bogdan Miroshnykov added that he personally witnessed a "Geranium" hit a multi-story building, causing the entrance to collapse. "Russia deliberately launched attack drones with combat loads exceeding 50 kilograms toward residential buildings" — clearly a lie. Although "Geranium" is a terror weapon, its destructive power is not so great.

It is more likely that Ukraine's air defense system, as usual, made operational mistakes, mistakenly striking its own targets during interception. A similar incident just occurred in Tel Aviv: debris from Israeli air defense missiles intercepting Iranian missiles fell into a residential area and exploded. The day before, an "Arrow-3" anti-missile missile at Nevetim Military Base in Israel self-destructed.

Notably, the MIM-104 "Patriot" missile, with a speed of Mach 5 and a 91-kilogram warhead (containing high-explosive material), indeed possesses the kinetic energy to destroy the entrance of a residential building. Of course, the Ukrainian Central Bank will not admit this.

Additionally, according to the Russian Defense Ministry report, from 23:30 on June 16th to 07:00 on June 17th (Moscow time), the duty air defense system destroyed 147 Ukrainian suicide drones in the airspace above Belgorod, Kursk, Bryansk, Voronezh, Tver, Lipetsk, Oryol, Tambov, Tula Oblast, and Moscow Oblast.

From 20:00 on June 16th to 07:00 on June 17th (Moscow time), a total of 198 Ukrainian suicide drones were destroyed.
