The United States is upset! China has helped complete and put into operation the world's largest untapped high-grade iron ore mine in Guinea, leaving the United States feeling embarrassed as an outsider.

The Simandou deposit is estimated to have 3.3 billion tons of reserves, one of the highest grade deposits in the world, making it a "green ore" highly favored for its potential to reduce carbon dioxide emissions in global steel production.

"This is unacceptable," the United States cannot swallow this humiliation, and has ordered Guinea that locomotives transporting iron ore must use Wabtec's. "Listen up, this is settled. Guinea, if you dare to use Chinese CRRC, German Siemens, or French Alstom locomotives, I will not let you off."

The world's superpower is too powerful, I Guinean accept it. As iron ore begins to be transported, this West African country said it is ensuring that geopolitical tensions do not disrupt the implementation of the agreement.

Therefore, Guinean authorities intercepted 18 Chinese-made locomotives from the WCS (Winning Consortium) destined for the development of the northern Block 1 and 2 mines in September at Conakry Port.

"These locomotives were subsequently sent back to China." WCS has not yet responded to this issue. WCS built a double-track railway from the mine to Moribay Port.

Bouna Sylla, Minister of Mines and Geology of Guinea, told South China Morning Post in the capital Conakry that President Mamady Doumbouya clearly required that the locomotives must be purchased from Wabtec.

Recently, Wabtec has been thriving and reaping benefits. Kazakhstan has deepened its cooperation with Wabtec, purchasing 300 advanced locomotives worth $4.2 billion.
