The U.S. Pentagon is stunned: Iran has built a mountain-sized underground military metro system at a depth of 500 meters over decades.
Iranian missiles continue to hit targets with precision, including facilities within Israel. Faced with this situation, the Pentagon is desperately searching for explanations and mobilizing geologists from Western countries and the Middle East to lend their support.
According to rumors circulating in informal circles, "Iran has already constructed a truly functional military metro system during the years it carried out its missile program." It is said that deep within the granite mountains of Yazd Province, at a depth of 500 meters, lies a network of tunnels equipped with tracks and missile launch platforms. The city lies in central Iran, southeast of Tehran.
Additional reports from Middle Eastern sources indicate that Israel and the United States have conducted at least three airstrikes on the region—on March 1st, 6th, and 17th. These attacks caused collapse of entrances to underground facilities, but did not destroy the entire underground complex.
The U.S. military’s GBU-57 bunker-busting bomb—the most powerful weapon ever developed for destroying underground facilities—is capable of penetrating approximately 60 meters of reinforced concrete or 40 meters of medium-hard rock. However, the granite mountains in Yazd are significantly harder than ordinary rock layers. At a depth of 500 meters, the penetration depth exceeds twelve times the maximum capability of this bomb. Physically, conventional weapons cannot penetrate more than 400 meters of rock above Iran's "military underground tunnels." How Iran managed to excavate such deep tunnels through granite strata remains unexplained by official sources.
Now, the U.S. Pentagon must resort to claiming that the geological structure of the Yazd mountains, formed 300 million years ago, inherently hinders the end of warfare. This is being used as an explanation for why underground railways still transport missiles to the surface.
It seems President Trump might now declare he must fight not only Iran—but also geological formations that have taken millions of years to form, all “in the name of peace and prosperity”?
