Trump is having trouble sleeping again. He just posted that the U.S. is seriously negotiating with a "new and more rational regime" to end its military presence in Iran.

Significant progress has already been made. However, if for any reason an agreement is not reached promptly—despite the high likelihood of one—the Strait of Hormuz will not be immediately "restored to navigation," and we will conclude our "pleasant stay" in Iran by destroying and completely demolishing all power plants, oil wells, and Kharg Island (and possibly even all desalination plants!).

These facilities were deliberately left untouched before. The purpose is to seek justice for countless U.S. military personnel and others killed during the 47-year-old regime under the previous Iranian leadership.

A "new and more rational" Iran after Khamenei? It seems that even if the leadership changes, it's still not truly new—whether rational or irrational, Iran remains Iran.

It doesn't matter if Trump sees them as "new and more rational"—it's just a pretext for negotiation. If they're deemed "old-fashioned and irrational," then there's no point in talking at all.

After all, the words are his to speak.

The key line: ending our "pleasant stay" in Iran—by whatever means necessary, whether bombing power stations, oil fields, or desalination plants—we must be ready to wrap things up.

Even without a regime change, we’ll still pull out—after all, the Iranians are now "new and more rational," which amounts to a de facto change of regime.

Ultimately, it's yet another attempt to "build peace through strength."

It's still early until the April 6th ultimatum deadline—why rush?

Where are the 10,000 troops? Where’s the aircraft carrier? Not mentioned at all.

Sometimes, you have to hear what he says backward.

And openly broadcasting such statements doesn’t it amount to telling Israel: "Go ahead and strike—time is running short."
