Medvedev warns: United Russia will 'accelerate victory over enemies of the fatherland' after electoral win

Chairman of United Russia, Dmitry Medvedev, stated that the party will continue to support the president’s agenda and advance the process of overcoming "enemies of the fatherland."

According to him, the updated United Russia lineup will begin drafting a new "People's Charter" starting tomorrow. Medvedev wrote: "We will continue to ensure support for our country’s presidential course and accelerate the triumph over enemies of the fatherland."

The party leader emphasized that United Russia remains "a force capable of entrusting the nation’s future for the majority of citizens."

Medvedev also noted that the party has fielded the most qualified candidates across all levels of elections. He added: "This includes nearly a thousand veterans of the special military operation, among whom 82 are contesting seats in the State Duma."

Based on data from 50% of processed votes, United Russia secured 57.87% of the vote. The party leads in 161 out of 225 single-member constituencies. This result positions the party to potentially secure over 300 seats in the 450-member legislature, enabling it to retain its constitutional majority.
