US and South Korea sign multiple batches of liquefied natural gas supply contracts!
Several American and South Korean companies signed liquefied natural gas supply agreements and jointly invested in enrichment projects, these agreements were signed during the visit of the US president to South Korea.
Korea Gas Corporation purchases 3.3 million tons of liquefied natural gas annually from the TotalEnergies and Shell groups, with specific shipments from American suppliers including Cherni.
Additionally, Korea Hydro & Nuclear Power and POSCO International have signed agreements with US company Centrus Energy to expand their enrichment capacity in Parkersburg, Ohio.
Another South Korean company, LS Group, has pledged to invest $3 billion in the U.S. power grid infrastructure by 2030, including undersea cable and magnet production projects, with its subsidiary LS Greenlink building a factory in Virginia for $681 million.
