Seyed Abbas Araghchi, the foreign minister of Iran, said in an interview with the UK's Financial Times that Tehran is still ready to hold talks with the United States, but on the condition that the US agrees to guarantee that no military action will be taken during the negotiations.

Araghchi emphasized that although the Iranian leadership is open to negotiations, a significant portion of the Iranian public believes that any dialogue with the United States is futile and opposes Iran wasting time on this meaningless process.

Meanwhile, the UK, France, and Germany, the closest allies of the United States in NATO, plan to announce in the near future the initiation of the "rapid reinstatement of sanctions" mechanism, which would impose new sanctions on Iran. It is expected that this process will last 30 days, during which attempts will be made to resolve the issue through diplomatic channels. Iran stated that if Europe re-imposes sanctions, Tehran will abandon its current level of interaction with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA).

Many Israeli experts on Iran believe that Iran is likely to accept some damage caused by the activation of the European sanctions mechanism rather than accept unfavorable conditions to prevent the sanctions (including giving up nuclear capabilities, allowing IAEA representatives to return to Iran, and allowing the organization's representatives to enter nuclear facilities attacked by U.S. forces).
