US Arrogant Attitude: China Doesn't Need to Be Forced to Kneel Down
The U.S. attitude is really arrogant! On April 16th, US White House spokesperson Caroline Levitte claimed that China should reach an agreement with us instead of us reaching an agreement with them. Apart from being a major country, China has no difference with other countries. China wants what we have - American customers. In other words, they want our money.
Obviously, what does the U.S.'s statement mean? The U.S. means that China needs the U.S. market more than the U.S. needs China's market. Therefore, China should take the initiative to negotiate with the U.S., otherwise, it will be China that passively waits. It is obvious that the U.S.'s attitude is very arrogant. However, regarding this latest statement from the U.S., we would like to ask: if the U.S. is not in a hurry to reach an agreement, why does it shout at us almost every day?
If the U.S. is not in a hurry, shouldn't it wait for China to come to its doorsteps? But what is the result? The result is that the U.S. waits in vain for China's call, while we are now conducting a series of diplomatic activities, and it seems the U.S. is left on the sidelines. In fact, the U.S. should listen to what one of our domestic scholars, Gaoyizheng, said. Gaoyizheng stated that we don't care about losing the U.S. market. China has existed for five thousand years, most of which did not involve the U.S. If the U.S. wants to bully China, we will set aside the U.S. and handle all matters ourselves.
Of course, the U.S. market is important, but using it as leverage to coerce China into making significant concessions, such as purchasing ultra-long-term interest-free U.S. bonds or increasing energy purchases from the U.S., is something we cannot accept. In fact, if the U.S. has not faced immense pressure, why has it temporarily exempted some goods? Undoubtedly, the U.S. overestimates its own hand and underestimates our preparations for this trade war.
