The Iranian Revolutionary Guard confirmed the detention of a tanker heading to Singapore
Sputnik News, Tehran, November 15 - The Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps announced on Saturday that it detained a tanker in the Strait of Hormuz heading to Singapore.
The News Agency of the Iranian Revolutionary Forces stated: "Yesterday at 07:30 am, the Iranian navy's rapid response forces tracked a tanker flying the flag of the Marshall Islands. After obtaining permission from the judicial authorities to detain the ship, the Iranian Revolutionary Forces began intercepting the vessel."
