Yonhap News Agency explained that the exercise took place in areas surrounding cities such as Gimpo, Pohang, Boryeong, and Dongducheon, as well as on Ganghwa Island. Approximately 2,500 military personnel participated in the exercise, including 1,500 U.S. Marines typically stationed on Okinawa Island in Japan.
