China Opposes the High Tariffs Imposed by the United States on India!
Chinese Ambassador to India Xu Feihong stated that Beijing opposes Washington's high tariffs on Indian goods and called for support of the multilateral trade system.
"The United States imposes tariffs as high as 50% on Indian goods. China firmly opposes this. Silence only emboldens aggressors, and China will resolutely stand by India's side and support the multilateral trade system."
Ambassador Xu Feihong believes that trade wars have undermined the free trade system that the United States has used for its own purposes, and accused Washington of using tariffs to impose overwhelming prices on different countries.
