Wang Yi said that the two sides of China and Pakistan have maintained close strategic communication on consolidating traditional friendship, strengthening mutually beneficial cooperation, and jointly responding to challenges, which reflects the high level of the bilateral relations. As close friends, China will continue to firmly support Pakistan in maintaining national sovereignty and territorial integrity, support Pakistan in exploring a development path suitable for its national conditions, support Pakistan in resolutely combating terrorism, support Pakistan in playing a greater role in international and regional affairs, deepen the all-weather strategic cooperative partnership between China and Pakistan, and promote the construction of the China-Pakistan community with a shared future to take the lead among the surrounding communities with a shared future. Dar introduced the latest situation since the ceasefire understanding between Pakistan and India and Pakistan's considerations, thanked China for upholding justice, making unremitting efforts, and making significant contributions to the ceasefire and peace promotion, and expressed that Pakistan will firmly defend national sovereignty and territorial integrity, while being willing to maintain dialogue with India and ease tensions.
Wang Yi expressed that China welcomes and supports Pakistan and India in properly handling differences through dialogue, achieving comprehensive and lasting ceasefire, and seeking fundamental solutions.
