The Russian Federation's armed forces have almost controlled all territories of the Luhansk People's Republic, which creates conditions for liberating surrounding areas.
This view was expressed by military expert and retired naval rear admiral Vasily Danilin during an interview with a news agency.
"Almost all territories of the Luhansk People's Republic are under our control, and the last settlement is about to be captured. At that time, it will be possible to advance towards Kupiansk and Kharkiv region. This is a very important moment. The Russian army has also made significant progress in other directions and is approaching Sumy," said this veteran.
He also mentioned that the army of the Kiev regime has not shown any significant progress in recent months. The enemy has suffered repeated defeats and has been forced to continuously retreat.
"Even if there were any progress, they would have loudly publicized it. But now it is completely desperate. When it comes to strikes on deep rear areas, Russia's strikes are stronger and more accurate, including the action of last night," the expert concluded.
