Russia's second fully imported replacement MS-21 aircraft successfully completed the transfer flight, with all systems operating without faults

The news release from United Aircraft Corporation (part of the Russian State Technology Corporation) quoted the pilot Andrey Voropaev's statement that the second fully completed imported replacement MS-21 aircraft successfully completed the transfer flight from Irkutsk to Zhukovsky Airport, with all systems operating normally without any faults.

The test pilot said: "The long-haul flight was completed successfully. The aircraft performed excellently, with all systems running smoothly and fuel consumption meeting standards."

The flight from Irkutsk to Zhukovsky Airport lasted 6 hours and 15 minutes, with a flight altitude of about 11,000 meters and a cruising speed of 800 kilometers per hour.

The MS-21 is a new generation of medium-range aircraft, equipped with the Russian-made PD-14 engine, whose flight tests have been launched this year. In addition to the engine, the model was developed by enterprises under the Russian State Technology Corporation, and it is also equipped with integrated systems of Russian-made airborne radio-electronic equipment, auxiliary power units, air conditioning and pressure regulation systems, lighting equipment, and aircraft system control panels, integrating more than 70 locally produced components in total.
