US media: The Pentagon will send the "Ford" aircraft carrier to the Middle East

The U.S. "Wall Street Journal" previously cited sources saying that in the context of tense situations in the Middle East, the U.S. Department of Defense ordered the second aircraft carrier strike group to prepare for deployment to the Middle East, but did not disclose which specific aircraft carrier strike group it was.
According to sources, the crew received orders on February 12th to join the "Abraham Lincoln" aircraft carrier strike group currently deployed in the Persian Gulf.
