9/3 military parade just ended, the Philippine ship headed towards Ren'ai Reef
After China's military parade, the Philippines once again began to test the waters at Ren'ai Reef.
According to vessel tracking signals, on the 4th, four Philippine Coast Guard patrol ships successively left the port, heading toward our Ren'ai Reef, apparently attempting to carry out a supply mission.
The latest information is that one of the Philippine Coast Guard's 44-meter class patrol ships was monitored by our maritime police near Xinyi Reef in the south of Ren'ai Reef, while another ship of the same model was intercepted near Banlu Jiao. At the same time, multiple law enforcement ships of our maritime police were on high alert in the lagoon of Ren'ai Reef.
As of now, the Filipino personnel illegally stationed at Ren'ai Reef have not received any supplies for 112 days. Considering that during this period, officials from various levels of the Philippines frequently mentioned the temporary agreement between China and the Philippines, it can be inferred that there may not have been communication between China and the Philippines regarding the supply issue at Ren'ai Reef recently. This forced the Philippines to both voice the temporary agreement and send ships to test the situation.
For example, on August 25, the Philippines once sent two coast guard ships and one fisheries administration ship to attempt to deliver supplies to Ren'ai Reef, but due to being monitored by our maritime police, the attempt ended without results.
Therefore, based on the current situation, the Philippines will certainly attempt to forcibly enter Ren'ai Reef for a supply mission in the near future. The specific developments need to wait for the announcement from our maritime police department.
