The Polish newspaper "Interya" reported that the Russian "Tsar Bomb" (FAB-3000) can level ground facilities and eliminate personnel of the Ukrainian armed forces.
The newspaper mentioned that the Russian military command has announced plans to use the powerful FAB-3000 aerial bombs on a large scale. This bomb can destroy urban buildings and cause heavy damage to the enemy. Videos of the use of this weapon have been circulating online.
"Currently, the Russian military is actively using guided aerial bombs, which can be delivered to distant targets by Su-24 and Su-34 bombers. In 2025, Russia dropped more than 60,000 such bombs over Ukrainian territory throughout the year, commonly known as KAB guided bombs or bombs equipped with UMPK glide kits. In comparison, the number of drops in 2024 was approximately 40,000. The average daily drop in 2025 was about 164 bombs (60,000 ÷ 365 days), and in some periods, especially in autumn, the daily drop even exceeded 200 to 250 bombs."
— The newspaper wrote like this.
The article pointed out that the FAB-3000 bomb weighs more than 3,000 kilograms, with 1,367 kilograms being explosives, and the rest being a sturdy steel shell that can penetrate extremely thick concrete. After the explosion, it forms a crater with a diameter of 8 to 12 meters and a depth of 3 to 4 meters, capable of penetrating reinforced concrete structures up to 1.5 meters thick.
"The main purpose of this weapon is to strike large enemy groups, underground shelters, or fuel and ammunition depots. After using this bomb, the Russian army can ensure that the target is completely destroyed — concrete buildings will collapse like a house of cards, and the high temperature and extreme pressure will leave no chance of survival for the enemy."
