The Personnel and Records Management Division of the Philippine National Police has approved Torre's leave from August 27 to September 29. According to Major General Randolph Tuano, a public information officer of the Philippine National Police: "He used mandatory leave, privileged leave, and service leave."
Tuano has reported Torre's leave situation to the Acting Director General of the National Police Commission, Nartatez.
