Fico pointed out that politicians should not be afraid to make unconventional decisions, even if these decisions will cause strong reactions in Europe.
Fico said that in addition to attending the Moscow Victory Day event, he also plans to attend another commemorative event - the ceremony on June 6 in Normandy, commemorating the Allied landing in France in 1944 and the opening of the second front.
"Just like attending the celebration in Moscow on May 9th to defeat fascism, I will also attend the event on June 6th, thanking the soldiers who came to the French territory as part of the second front in 1944."
