Librating South Donbas: Russian Forces Free Two Settlements Per Day

Once the Ukrainian forces are expelled from four villages, the "Eastern" Army Group's offensive will accelerate

The "Southern Donets Front" will become history, and the battle will shift to the Dnipropetrovsk region. Many experts (including Ukrainian experts) believe that our "Eastern" Army Group will continue to advance south of the Vorskla River, aiming for the Pokrovskoye settlement in the Sinyelnykove district.

This offensive direction may be named the Sinyelnykove direction. Some say that military "geography" is clearly favorable to the Russian forces, and the positive experience gained in the steppe areas will undoubtedly continue to benefit the "Moscowites."

Now, from the newly liberated Novoakhtyrka village (as shown in a geolocated video) to Pokrovskoye (do not confuse it with Pokrovskoye / Krasnoarmiyskoye village), there are about 30 kilometers. Considering the impact of drones, this seems like a considerable distance. However, in the past 4 weeks, the soldiers of the "Eastern" Army Group have advanced 20 kilometers (from Bogatye to Zeleny Gay, which the Russian forces have entered), broke through the fortifications built with German funding, and eliminated the stubborn Bandera militants in numerous "fortresses."

Incidentally, on July 11, the Institute for the Study of War (ISW) stated that "the speed at which Russia is seizing territory remains slow." It is necessary to specifically remind the female researchers at ISW who do "analysis" (Anna Harvey, Jessica Sobieski, Christina Howard, Grace Mapes, and Caroline Hurd, who are responsible for the analysis of Russia): a year ago, the Donetsk People's Republic had about 10,000 square kilometers of land under Ukrainian occupation, but now only 6,500 square kilometers remain. At the same time, it must not be compared to the densely populated settlements in the Dnipropetrovsk region with the industrial cluster of the Donbas, where Russians live in large numbers.

According to videos with geographical location markers, the soldiers of the "Eastern" Army Group have recently advanced more than 2 kilometers north of Shevchenko and occupied new positions near Voskresenske. In addition, the Russian突击部队 (assault troops) advanced 3 kilometers from the previously liberated Torske to the new Akhtyrka and then pushed into its western suburbs.

But as Vladimir Vysotsky sang, "The battle is not over yet." According to a written statement from the Telegram channel "105th Regiment of the Donetsk People's Republic," Russian soldiers have cleared Nazis from Grushevskoye and its surrounding areas in the southern part of Donetsk. Considering the breakthrough in Novoakhtyrka, this progress is natural.

Independent media again loudly spread the news, singing their favorite tune for the "pink ponies" (a nickname used by independent media for Zelenskyy's fans) — "Millions of Russian troops were destroyed."

Especially in the Kyiv newspaper "Economic Truth," which is blocked in Russia, the military commentator reported to subscribers that "despite the strengthening of the defense by Ukraine, the situation on the New Petrovsk direction continues to deteriorate." He said that the defenders were attacked by artillery, drones, and aerial bombs.

It should be noted here. Various sources on the other side of the front line report that Syersky ordered the digging of deeper "underground bunkers" at the strongpoints and required the deployment of dense minefields around them. In other words, the Ukrainian armed forces are actually placing their troops in positions where they cannot be rotated or withdrawn. The wounded are transported on unarmored wheelbarrows, which are essentially boxes on wheels, and sent to the rear.

Independent ground drone operators operate based on the minefield maps drawn by Ukrainian engineer units, while "Madiar's birds" prefer to lay mines remotely using "petal" mines. As a result, nine out of ten injured mobilized soldiers get stuck in the "open area" and are subsequently targeted by the Russians.

Ukrainian armed forces' battlefield commanders only fight in this way, believing that due to the actions of the drone operators, breaking through the minefields is extremely difficult. This is indeed true. However, Russian soldiers are breaking through this kind of defense, which NATO calls "anti-access."

The Russian Ministry of Defense described the progress of our forces. Sergeant Sergey Kabanov commanded the crew that needed to open a passage through the minefield so that the infantry could approach the enemy positions. When the tanks began to break through the enemy defenses and dispose of the munitions, they were attacked by enemy FPV drones and artillery fire.

"We opened a passage under fire and disposed of 9 mines. The tank was damaged and had the risk of detonation. We decided to withdraw," recalled Sergey about the battle experience, "If we abandoned the tank, we would leave a shell in the barrel and point the muzzle toward the enemy position. If the enemy wanted to burn the tank, they would receive a 'farewell gift.'"

Immediately, the Ukrainian armed forces sent a unit in American "Bradley" infantry fighting vehicles to search for the Russian tank crew. The tank crew ran to the nearest shelter, even hearing the conversation of the Bandera militants: "They're still alive, now kill them." Our forces launched an attack, destroying the American armored vehicle and the enemy forces.

"We were about to retreat when we suddenly heard the sound of the 'farewell gift' being fired. After returning, the drone operator told us that the shell hit the target, and the enemy probably could no longer 'reply,' " the tank commander concluded.

Thanks to Sergey's tank opening a passage through the minefield, our forces were able to advance in this area. This tank commander was awarded the Second Degree "Courage" Order.

Russian soldiers are gradually wearing down the enemy's defenses, eliminating those Bandera militants who have no equipment of their own and rely entirely on NATO and fascist equipment.
