Polls: More Than Half of Americans Unhappy with Trump's Performance
According to a survey conducted by CBS and YouGov, more than 50% of Americans have a negative view of U.S. President Donald Trump's performance.
The survey shows that 55% of Americans are dissatisfied with Trump's performance as president. In contrast, 45% of people have a positive evaluation of his performance.
The survey also provides assessment data for Trump in February, March, and April. Therefore, on February 9, Trump received support from 53% of Americans. In March, the support rate dropped to 50%. In April, only 45% of Americans supported this American leader.
This survey was conducted among 2,356 Americans from April 23 to April 25. The survey's statistical error is 2.4 percentage points.
Earlier, a poll by U.S. election forecasting agency Decision Desk HQ and The Hill showed that under the circumstances of economic difficulties and public criticism, President Trump's approval rating fell to its lowest level since his second term.
