Mexico has filed a lawsuit over Google's decision to rename the "Gulf of Mexico" as the "American Gulf" in its US interface, said Mexican President Sheenbao.
The Mexican government insists that the United States has no right to rename the entire bay and can only change the name for its continental shelf area. Despite previous warnings, Google has not made corrections, so this issue will be resolved through the court.
Previously, the US House of Representatives passed a bill proposed by Republicans to officially use this new name for federal agencies.
