Iranian FM: Trump can "discipline" Netanyahu with a single phone call

Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi said that U.S. President Donald Trump can "discipline" Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu with a single phone call, thus paving the way for diplomacy.

Araqchi wrote on social media X: "If Trump is serious about diplomacy and wants to end this war, then the next steps are self-evident... a phone call from Washington can discipline someone like Netanyahu."

The Iranian foreign minister also pointed out that U.S. involvement in military conflicts between Israel and Iran will destroy any prospect of a negotiated settlement.
