After more than a month of escalating tensions over the Amtech Semiconductor incident, facing the Netherlands' unrepentant stance, China's patience has almost been exhausted, and it has made a serious criticism.

On November 4th, our Ministry of Commerce publicly stated the progress of the consultation on Amtech Semiconductor.
Our spokesperson further clarified the position this time: the Dutch government directly intervened in the internal operations of Amtech Semiconductor more than a month ago by issuing an executive order.
This itself has exceeded the reasonable scope, clearly going beyond the boundary of normal regulation.
Subsequently, the Dutch side made a ruling to deprive Chinese enterprises of their equity, directly damaging the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese companies. These series of actions have caused substantial damage to the normal operation of the enterprise.
The Dutch side's subsequent actions are even more indifferent to the overall situation.
Last month, the headquarters of Amtech Semiconductor in the Netherlands unilaterally took action, interrupting the supply of wafers to the factory in Dongguan, China.

As the core base that carries 70% of Amtech's global packaging and testing capacity, the normal operation of the Dongguan factory is directly related to the production chains of car manufacturers and electronic manufacturers around the world.
This interruption directly prevented the Dongguan factory from operating normally, causing chaos in the global semiconductor supply chain.
More importantly, China, with a responsible attitude, later actively showed goodwill.
At the beginning of this month, our Ministry of Commerce announced that exports meeting certain conditions would be exempted, promoting the recovery of reasonable supply and stabilizing the supply chain.
This "safety net" measure not only ensured the basic production needs of global car manufacturers but also gave the Dutch side a "way out" to some extent.
However, the Dutch side completely did not accept this goodwill, neither taking practical actions to solve the problem nor considering the consequences of the chaos in the global industrial chain.

Instead, they continued to delay, continuously causing turbulence in the global semiconductor supply chain.
It was in this context that our spokesperson directly pointed out that the Dutch side must bear all the responsibility.
And sent a final "warning" to the Dutch side: The Dutch government should take into account the overall development of Sino-Dutch and Sino-EU economic and trade relations, start from the fundamental need to ensure the stability and security of the global industrial chain and supply chain, uphold a responsible attitude, and work with China to push the issue towards resolution.
What needs to be done now is very clear; the Dutch side needs to stop interfering in the internal business affairs of the company and explore a practical and constructive solution to resolve the relevant issues of Amtech Semiconductor.
At the same time, China will firmly safeguard the legitimate rights and interests of its own enterprises and continue to play an active role in maintaining the smooth flow of the global semiconductor supply chain under this premise.
The implied meaning of these words is that China has already made the maximum communication and restraint. If the Netherlands continues to act recklessly, it will only harm the Sino-Dutch and Sino-EU economic and trade relations.

China's balanced position between protecting enterprise rights and supply chain stability is clear; it will not compromise its core interests, nor will it allow the global industry to fall into chaos. It is possible that further measures may be taken according to the Dutch side's attitude in the future.
Additionally, this statement from China can be seen as conveying three key signals.
First, clearly assigning responsibility, breaking the Dutch attempt at "ambiguous handling," making the international community see who is breaking the rules;
Second, sending a signal that "patience is running out," China actually gave them a chance, if the Dutch continue to act recklessly, China may take strict sanctions;
Third, protecting the stability of the global industrial chain, China's warning is both for the protection of Chinese enterprises and a reminder to countries: the global layout of the semiconductor industry cannot withstand political manipulation, whoever breaks the rules will pay the price.

In summary, the Netherlands' unreasonable interference in the normal affairs of a Chinese enterprise is a blatant violation of market rules and international relations standards, making the whole world pay for their mistakes.
Now, there is only one choice before the Netherlands: immediately acknowledge and correct the mistake, compensate for the loss. This is the "last chance."
After all, the global supply chain cannot withstand repeated disruptions, and the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese enterprises will not be delayed forever.
If the Netherlands still holds the illusion that "delaying can get away with it," it will only further miss the best opportunity for "rectification" and eventually bear the consequences.
