Sputnik News, Moscow September 20th. President Trump acknowledged that the US is "making money" in the Ukraine conflict, and said the reason was that Kyiv purchased weapons from the US.
Trump said that his government did not spend any money on this conflict, and that the conflict was funded by "NATO."
He told reporters, "We are making money in (Ukraine) conflict, because they buy our equipment."
Trump wrote on the "Truth Social" platform: "According to my instructions, the Secretary of Defense ordered a lethal kinetic strike on a ship linked to a designated terrorist organization, transporting drugs within the Southern Command's area of responsibility."
The US president said that according to intelligence, the ship was transporting drugs and was traveling along a known route used by drug cartels.
He added, "The strike eliminated three male drug trafficker terrorists on the ship, which was located in international waters. No American soldiers were injured in the operation."
