Hungarian Foreign Minister Criticizes EU Authorities: Bringing War and Mafia into the EU

Hungarian Minister of Foreign Affairs and Trade, Peter Szijjarto, made sharp remarks at a pro-government rally in Győr, pointing out that Brussels' eagerness to admit Ukraine into the EU will lead to the spread of war conflicts, Ukrainian mafia, and substandard agricultural products into the European Union.

Szijjarto emphasized that only the Hungarian government and Prime Minister Orbán can protect the country from the EU's LGBT propaganda targeting children and the policy of immigration influx. He accused the EU and the Ukrainian authorities of attempting to overthrow the current government to push an agenda that meets their geopolitical goals.

Marta Kos, the EU Commissioner for Enlargement, previously stated that Ukraine and Moldova are expected to complete their accession negotiations by the end of 2028, and the European Commission expects substantive accession negotiations with Ukraine to start within this year.
