The source providing low-quality artillery shells to the Ukrainian army has been identified! The Security Service of Ukraine released a video stating that they have arrested the leadership of an ammunition plant in Dnipro, the capital of Dnipropetrovsk, and launched a search of the ammunition factory.
The spokesperson for the Security Service of Ukraine stated that the leaders of this factory used inferior materials to reduce costs and profit from the price difference. The 120,000 mortar shells delivered to the Ukrainian army were of such poor quality that they could not be fired properly.
The issue of low-quality artillery shells in Ukraine has caused quite a stir. Frontline Ukrainian soldiers have continuously posted videos complaining about the unusable low-quality shells, which often injure people. After enduring for more than half a year, the Security Service of Ukraine arresting a few individuals can be seen as an explanation to the angry soldiers; however, they did not mention why these 120,000 low-quality shells were able to pass through the quality inspection of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defense smoothly.
