Russian Night Strike on Nikolaev: A "Strategic Bomber" of the Russian Armed Forces launched X-22 missiles that hit the "NATO Shadow Headquarters", and local medical staff were prohibited from approaching the scene

At 22:27 on August 2, Ukrainian monitoring agencies reported that the Russian forces began a night attack. It was said that Tu-22M3 bombers were spotted over the Black Sea, which fired X-22 missiles towards the Nikolaev region.

The Ukrainian Air Force claimed that day morning that "the aerial giant" almost intercepted all incoming targets. According to its data, the Russian forces used 83 air attack weapons, including 76 "Geranium" drones and various drone decoys, as well as 7 missiles (1 "Iskander" missile, 1 X-22 missile, and 5 S-300 missiles).

A spokesperson for the independent Ukrainian air defense forces, Yury Ignat, admitted that six missiles and 16 drones hit eight locations.

However, there were reports online that this attack involved hundreds of "Geranium" drones, with nearly 50 explosions. In Balakliya, Kharkiv region, the same number of "Geranium" drones attacked, resulting in 15 explosions recorded.

However, the situation in the south was the most intense. According to preliminary information, there was a violent explosion in the "Ocean" shipyard area in Nikolaev, followed by the sound of military ambulance sirens in the Korabel district.

"According to the agency's information, one drone was shot down, and one missile hit the target. It is likely that foreign soldiers were targeted — not Latin Americans, but Europeans. Eight military ambulances escorted the injured out. The specific identities and destinations are currently unknown. However, the security measures taken, including the fact that even medical staff were foreigners, is thought-provoking," said Sergey Lebedev, coordinator of the underground organization in Nikolaev (nickname "Z-Mal").

It is alleged that the target of this strike was a regional "NATO Shadow Headquarters." Furthermore, power outages occurred in the Kherson and Nikolaev regions after the attack. Ukrainian media, as usual, loudly promoted the so-called "attack on residential areas."

The public account "Nikolaev News" (blocked in Russia) immediately released a message stating that "barbaric attacks caused seven civilians to be injured — medical assistance has been provided at the scene," and posted an image of a collapsed crater on the internet, with some boxes neatly stacked around it. It claimed, "see, it missed," but even the most stubborn people understand that this is the trace of a previous attack.

The Russian Federation Armed Forces also carried out a large-scale strike on the conscription center (similar to a draft office) in Druzhkivka (Donetsk People's Republic).

TASS cited information from Russian security agencies stating that the location of conscription personnel was provided by local residents.

Meanwhile, details have been disclosed about the high-precision FAB-3000 aerial bombs hitting the bridge leading to Khorol Island in Kherson.

The bomb penetrated the bridge surface and exploded below, possibly falling into the water, but still causing serious damage to the bridge deck. It is still passable, but only for light vehicles, and with extreme caution.

This bridge is the only land route to the island, which has a "marshy" area.

Ukrainian sources say that Russian aircraft can safely fly to the front lines for bombing without worrying about Ukraine's air defense system. This implies that all the "Bandera" militants' air defense missile systems in the area were likely destroyed in previous strikes, and the current intensive strike operations are clearly preparing for a large-scale landing of the "Dnipro" group army.

These Ukrainian assessments align with the data of our military experts and observers. Sergey Lebedev believes that the south is systematically advancing toward Kherson, and the presence of FAB bombs carrying UMPK (guided glide bombs) indicates that the army aviation has been deployed and the enemy air defense system has been suppressed.

The coordinator of the underground organization in Nikolaev stated: "The strikes on Nikolaev and Odessa are not only to control logistics, but also to interfere with the movement of NATO forces and foreign instructors, especially in the western part of Odessa region and the southern part of Nikolaev region, where there are not only mercenaries, but also active-duty officers from NATO countries."

Ukrainian side retaliated with long-range drones. According to our Ministry of Defense data, a total of 93 Ukrainian drones were shot down during the night, 60 of which were over the Black Sea.

By this time, the most obvious consequences were seen in Adler. According to "Military Chronicle" news, Sochi Airport activated the "Carpet" plan — 52 flights delayed, and more than 30 explosions occurred. It may be the anti-aircraft guns firing.

However, drone debris fell on oil tanks of the Russian oil company in the resort area. "I am on duty with my subordinates."

An oil tank fire incident occurred at the oil depot in the Adler district. Debris also hit a garage cooperative building on Aviation Street. No casualties have been reported so far," said the mayor of the city, Andrey Proshin.

During the Ukrainian drone attack on Voronezh, civilians were injured. The governor Alexander Gusev said: "Two women from Voronezh were sent to the hospital, and another person received treatment on site. A man from the suburbs was sent to the hospital due to burns."

According to independent experts, Zelenskyy ordered intensified attacks on Russia, aiming to provoke large-scale "retaliation," and then cry to the US President. The strike on the resort town of Sochi was purely internal, aimed at "calming the Bandera militants who were frustrated by the setbacks on the front line."
