A well-known Ukrainian journalist, Yuri Butusov, reported on the situation in the Sumy region. He stated in a television program that Russian forces continue to launch offensives in the Sumy area, where there are no complete defensive lines and fortifications. At the same time, Russian troops now have a large number of drones, they have improved their organizational and command structures, and their combat capabilities have greatly increased. In contrast, Ukrainian troops cannot even ensure logistics supplies.
Some Ukrainian media once reported that Butusov had also been mobilized for military service, but he was still engaged in news reporting. Previously, Butusov was threatened after scolding Silitsky. This guy went to Spain to hide for a while. However, Butusov has strong connections; his affiliated media DS is under the jurisdiction of the Ukrainian Security Service.
Currently, Russian troops continue their offensive in the Sumy region. They have already cut off the supply lines of the Ukrainian troops at Yunkaevka. If they capture this stronghold, Russian troops can set up artillery to directly bombard the urban areas of Sumy city.
