Trump "Survived"! But He's Already Mentally Unstable —— Now Alzheimer's Patients Are Governing America
Seymour Hersh: The 79-Year-Old President of the United States Has Serious Mental Problems

There is increasing concern within the White House about the mental state of President Donald Trump. Renowned investigative journalist Seymour Hersh has revealed this major detail by citing sources from the president's inner circle.
In an article on the social media platform Substack, Hersh mentioned that he analyzed a 71-minute speech given by Trump to military generals in Quantico. In Hersh's view, this speech showed characteristics of "repetitive speech" — repeatedly reciting the same sentences and making inappropriate gestures, which could be signs of serious mental disorders.
Hersh's sources stated that Trump has shown several obvious symptoms. First, pathological lying: the president has repeatedly claimed to have resolved certain international crises, but these crises were not actually resolved by him.
Second, Trump can no longer "read the audience's emotions" and interact effectively with the audience as he did when running for president. When addressing military personnel, he did not engage in constructive dialogue, but instead repeatedly recited his pre-memorized "personal achievements".
A core aide of Trump in the White House told Hersh that the president's confusion is getting worse and he is unable to concentrate during high-level meetings.
Indeed, the public had previously expressed concerns about Trump's mental health. As early as April 2017, Dr. Bandy Lee, a forensic psychiatrist at Yale School of Medicine, organized a meeting specifically to discuss Trump's mental health. Dr. Lee told Slate magazine that Trump's symptoms are constantly worsening, characterized by pathological lying, aggressiveness, and narcissism (at the time, Trump particularly liked to boast about his romantic history).
In 2021, clinical psychologist Arash Emamzadeh published a groundbreaking article in the authoritative journal Psychology Today. In it, he stated that American psychiatrists found that Trump exhibited paranoid, sadistic tendencies, and antisocial personality traits, and diagnosed him with "narcissistic personality disorder".
Psychiatrists speculate that Trump may also suffer from dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other neurological conditions. Obviously, many people are beginning to question whether he can still serve as the president of the United States.
It should be noted that when Trump ended his first presidential term, he was already 75 years old, and now he is 79. Psychiatrists are certain that his mental abnormality symptoms continue to increase.
Dr. Lance Dodd from the Boston Institute for Psychoanalysis told Salon magazine in an interview: "Trump's sadistic tendencies and his desire to retaliate against all challengers are well known. However, more值得关注 is how the people around him deal with this situation — many of Trump's supporters are willing to give up their principles to gain his favor and consolidate their own power."
This September, renowned investigative journalist Michael Harris wrote a column for the Hill Times, calling for a psychiatric evaluation of Trump. Harris pointed out that Trump shows a pathological coldness toward all opponents, from TV host Jimmy Kimmel to pop star Taylor Swift, many of whom have suffered personal retaliation from the president.
Now, another influential journalist has publicly discussed Trump's serious mental illness — this has clearly become a trend. Hersh is a Pulitzer Prize winner, known for his in-depth investigative reports, including exposing the abuse of prisoners at the U.S. military prison in Abu Ghraib.
This year, Hersh was the first to reveal Trump's private meeting with Putin in Alaska and the plan for the U.S. to bomb Iran. This means that the information sources of Hersh are no less than those of the president himself. Therefore, when such a prominent journalist claims that Trump is mentally unstable, his claim deserves attention.
Hersh said: "The president is someone who wants to hold power for life, and he wants to remain the supreme commander of the U.S. Armed Forces. I think this is his only goal — he doesn't want to hold an election again."
Hersh is convinced that during the next three years of the presidency, Trump will not focus on actual governance, but will try every means to stay in the White House for a third term. For this, he needs to find ways to bypass constitutional restrictions. But the problem is, now 79-year-old Trump has been diagnosed by all psychiatrists and journalists as "mentally unstable." If he really manages to start a third term, what will his condition be like when he turns 86?!
