This is the Philippine Coast Guard vessel No. 4406, which was the same one on August 11th.

According to comprehensive intelligence, the Philippine Coast Guard vessel that intruded into our islands and surrounding waters and was strongly driven away is the "Lighthouse" class multi-purpose response ship No. 6, "Suluan" (BRP Suluan, MRRV-4406). The vessel was launched in 2016 at the Yokohama Shipyard of Japan's United Marine Co., Ltd., and delivered to the Philippines in June 2017.

The "Lighthouse" class multi-purpose response ship is a high-speed multi-purpose patrol law enforcement vessel of about 300 tons. Around 2015, Japan and the Philippines reached an agreement for the "Philippine Coast Guard Maritime Safety Capacity Enhancement Assistance Project." The Philippines used a $130 million loan from Japan to order this class of vessels from Japan's JMU, totaling 10 ships.

This class of vessels is powered by two Rolls-Royce MTU 12V4000M93L diesel engines, with a total power of 5160 kW (6900 shaft horsepower), twin shafts and twin propellers, with a maximum speed of 26-29 knots, and a maximum range of 1500-2000 nautical miles.

The Philippine vessel has installed two remote-controlled water cannons on the raised second deck in front of the bridge, as well as an Israeli WAVE 350 type 12.7 mm remote-controlled weapon station. There are also two 12.7 mm manually operated machine guns at the stern of the vessel.

Notably, this class of vessel is also equipped with an electronic interception, direction-finding, and reconnaissance system from the German company R&S. The antenna specifications are equivalent to military standards, far exceeding ordinary maritime vessels. It can determine the position of a vessel through radio signals beyond the line of sight.
