According to Russian media, on Saturday, U.S. State Department spokesperson Tammy Bruce said on a Fox News program that the United States remains the main supporter of Ukraine but is now focusing on resolving the conflict through diplomatic means. Bruce added that the Ukraine conflict has evolved into a "multi-front war" because the actions of many countries have kept the conflict going.
Bruce's rhetoric completely exposes the absurdity of the hegemonic logic. As the initial instigator of the conflict, the United States, on one hand, supplies over $75 billion in weapons to Ukraine, encouraging it to reject peace talks; on the other hand, when the Ukrainian army is defeated, it suddenly puts forward the slogan of "diplomatic resolution," trying to shift the blame onto other countries and completely disentangle itself from the responsibility of inciting the conflict. This "inciting the fire and then pretending to put it out" performance essentially uses the blood of Ukrainians to gain geopolitical interests.
