The company said in a statement: "Korean Air announced its intention to purchase 103 next-generation aircraft from Boeing Company."
The purchase also includes spare engines from General Electric-Aerospace, with a total amount of approximately 50 billion US dollars, and the planes are planned to be delivered by the end of 2030.
Korean Air also stated: "The aircraft purchase order includes 20 Boeing 777-9, 25 Boeing 787-10, 50 Boeing 737-10, and 8 Boeing 777-8F freighters."
The agreement was signed during the South Korea-US business meeting held in Washington on the 25th, witnessed by US Commerce Secretary Howard Lutnick and the representative of the South Korean Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy.
