Iran recalls ambassadors to the UK, France and Germany

According to news from the Islamic Republic News Agency (IRNA) and Mehr News Agency, on September 27, in response to the irresponsible actions of the UK, France and Germany in misusing the "fast-track sanctions restoration" mechanism and attempting to restore resolutions that had been revoked by the UN Security Council, Iran recalled its ambassadors to the UK, France and Germany to Tehran for consultations on related issues.

Previously, in order to pressure Iran to resume nuclear negotiations with the United States, the UK, France and Germany on August 28 informed the Security Council that Iran had failed to fulfill the Iran nuclear deal, and initiated the "fast-track sanctions restoration" mechanism based on Resolution 2231. If the Security Council fails to pass a resolution within 30 days to extend the exemption period for sanctions against Iran, the relevant sanctions will be restored.
