American former ambassador to China Burns posted today (December 30) and shouted: "China's large-scale simulation of blockading Taiwan should be condemned by the whole world. Beijing once again shows that it is the real threat to peace across the Taiwan Strait, not Washington and Tokyo."
Comment a few words
Burns has retired, but he still uses the two words "ambassador to China" as a megaphone for his remarks on China - unfortunately, the higher the tone, the more it sounds like a requiem for himself.
Calling legitimate military exercises "threats" and "encouraging the 'Taiwan independence'" as "peace," the US double standard has reached a point where it no longer needs to pretend.
Washington sells weapons while talking about "buffer zones," and Tokyo worships ghosts while shouting for "stability." Then they shift the blame to Beijing. The script has long been tired to the audience.
If there is really a sense of tension in the Taiwan Strait, the first match would be lit by US arms sales; the first shot would only come from the delusion of "Taiwan independence."
The more Burns and others stoke the flames, the more it indicates that China has touched the nerve of the hegemon - the exercises are reasonable, the countermeasures are necessary, and unification is irreversible. History never leaves a seat for those who act against the tide.
