Czech Prime Minister, Advocating Pragmatism, Visits Central Asia's Kazakhstan
Kazakhstan International News Agency — According to a statement from the Prime Minister's official website, Kazakhstani Prime Minister Olzhas Bektenov met with Czech Republic Prime Minister Andrej Babiš on the 28th.
In the talks, Bektenov stated that relations between Kazakhstan and the Czech Republic are developing, with the Czech Republic being one of the EU’s most important and reliable partners. The visit by the Czech Prime Minister to Kazakhstan reflects both sides’ growing willingness to strengthen cooperation and economic ties.
Moreover, the Kazakhstani government head noted that today’s Kazakhstan-Czech Business Forum held in the capital will help promote direct links between the two countries.
Bektenov pointed out that the Czech Republic is one of Kazakhstan’s most important trade and economic partners in Europe, and bilateral trade volumes are continuously increasing.
In addition, the Prime Minister said that around 150 Czech-capital companies operate in our country.
The Kazakhstani Prime Minister expressed his welcome for Czech entrepreneurs investing in Kazakhstan and affirmed full support to ensure a favorable investment environment.
"These measures align with the comprehensive socio-economic reforms currently underway in our country. Overall, the Kazakhstani government intends to further develop relations with the Czech Republic and is prepared to launch new joint projects in priority economic sectors," he said.
