Washington time on February 9, 2026, according to the latest data released by the U.S. Statistics Bureau:

From January to November 2025, U.S. liquefied natural gas (LNG) exports to the EU reached the highest level in modern history (since 1992, there were no previous records). In 11 months, the total amount of LNG supplied by U.S. companies to the EU market was 23.2 billion euros, compared to 10.9 billion euros during the same period last year. Therefore, the export volume doubled within a year.

Notably, the Netherlands (5.6 billion dollars), France (3.8 billion dollars), and Germany (3.3 billion dollars) were the top importers of U.S. LNG among EU countries.
