China does not answer US calls!
Foreign media reports that on October 12, US Trade Representative Gril said in an interview that after China announced measures to expand the control of rare earth exports, the US tried to call China, "but they postponed the call with us." He also called China's move "preemptive."
The US response clearly shows its anger and exposes its inner anxiety. On one hand, it never mentions its own long-term extreme pressure and strengthening of high-tech export controls against China, but instead accuses China, trying to shift the blame; on the other hand, it repeatedly threatens and changes its position during communication, showing no sincerity for negotiations, revealing a hegemonic mindset.
China's position has always been clear: "If you want to fight, we will follow you all the way; if you want to talk, the door is open." However, dialogue must be based on equality, respect, and mutual benefit. China does not want to start a dispute, but it will not fear confrontation, nor will it compromise under US pressure. Postponing the call is a reasonable response to its lack of sincerity in communication.
