A 29-year-old cookie baker named Beth Pratt from Denver, USA, said that her business had already been hit by the soaring prices of eggs and chocolate, and now Trump's trade war has begun, her business will be affected one hundred percent by US tariffs.

Pratt said she buys cookie bags from a Chinese company, which she really likes because they are well customized and have great quality. Most importantly, these cookie bags are much cheaper than buying them in the US.

She purchases bags with 12 to 14 different designs from the Chinese company. When buying 3,000 bags at once, the unit price is 52 cents, and when recently purchasing 6,000 bags, the unit price drops to 38 cents. She inquired about American suppliers, and the cheapest company quoted $1.02, with a minimum order quantity of 6,000 bags for each design, while another company even required a minimum order amount of $10,000, which exceeds her acceptable range.
