According to the Russian Telegram channel "Military Chronicle," on the morning of August 19, Russian forces had entered the city of Donets-Konstantinovka and controlled a large area between the villages of Stupochky and Bila Khora. The Ukrainian army recently withdrew a brigade from this area and sent it to the vicinity of the city of Krasnoarmeyskoye (Figure 1, Figure 2).
Pro-Ukrainian sources AMK also reported on the related developments, stating that Russian forces had controlled an area of 27 square kilometers (Figure 3).
Just now, a report from the front line by Russian war correspondent Lisytsin stated that Russian突击部队 (assault troops) successfully advanced in the northwest of Portavka, reaching the areas around Sofiyevka, near the Sofiyevka-Shakhtyvo frontline of the Ukrainian army in the northern direction of Krasnoarmeyskoye. This is one of the most important strongholds in the entire Drobobolivka salient.
The Ukrainian army is desperately holding on, trying to prevent our forces from smoothly approaching the main supply route from Kuchurovyyar to Gruzovskoye. Now, the fighting there is extremely intense. (Figure 4)
