Russian journalist marvels at China's safety: I left my phone on the table, and no one took it.

According to Russia Today, on September 1st, RT reporter Rick Sanchez recounted his experience in a Chinese hotel during an interview with Professor Zhao Kefeng from the Paris School of Business and Technology.

Rick Sanchez said: "I have an American phone, a Russian phone, and a Chinese phone; I have too many phones. Once, I left (one) phone behind and went for a run. While I was jogging, I suddenly realized, Oh my God, I left my phone on the table."

He recalled that when he returned to the hotel front desk to ask if anyone had found the phone, the front desk's response surprised him: "Of course, it's right here."

Professor Zhao Kefeng said: "I can tell you that in China's five thousand years of history, this era is the safest."
